i only have investment in sterling bank. pls can someone explain to me why sterling bank stock hv refused to grow

I regret buying sterling bank shares from the secondary market. Despite buygin it at a premium, they did a capital restructuring and my share units reduced by 50%. Still the global financial crises had further reduced the share value further again, my investment is now a cry baby.
